Course Description
This course focuses on the development of creative and academic writing skills through an engagement with the processes of screenwriting and film criticism. |
|
課程目標 |
Course Objectives
By the end of this course students will have a rich understanding of the construction of screenplays as blueprints for filmmakers. They will complete a research paper and a short screenplay that will enable them to contribute a screenwriter’s perspective to current debates in Screen Studies. |

Requirements:
Full attendance is expected. Students must read the texts and circulate e-mail comments in advance of the seminar each week.
*The course will be graded through one mid-semester research paper in week 9 (40%), a short screenplay in week 18 (40%) and Group Work (20%).
